Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
They are very focused on exactly one type of diversity: gender diversity. LGBT, ethnic minorities, and able-bodied diversity are completely ignored. It's actually very ironic how many "diversity" meetings have been had that assume binary gender.

It is hard being very diverse in STEM, but Boeing does okay. There are a few team leads who are women, and non-white. Still plenty of white men, particularly in the higher levels of the company.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
I'm not sure. There are stem activities to help raise awareness/ support STEM, however by my understanding they are for "middle class" schools. I am not aware of such activities for schools of lesser reputation.
