Progression is possible up to an executive manager level. from there it seems like it gets really hard to progress.

My area has recently released a detailed expectations and career path available to all engineers. Allowing everyone to see what is expected and get feedback on how to improve easily.

Depends on the role. I have been able to secure a competitive position fortunately, however they will try and force you into regional areas with no access to further opportunity in order to fill demand gaps.

There are options for engineers to be promoted while still actually doing engineering work, they are not forced into management positions.

Progression paths for both technical and people management roles. Engineers are able to keep moving up the ladder without losing the technical elements of their role, and are extremely valued in doing so.
