Salary at Commonwealth Bank

7.6
7.6 rating for Salary, based on 35 reviews
What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
salary for grads are on the top end of the graduate salary band, with a standard 3% increase annually. Then after the graduate program, salary would increase to the regular remuneration for the role your rolling off to.

Pay is good and good chances for increases, however this is Sydney and rent is a lot
Graduate, Sydney - 29 Jan 2020
Bonus potential was low. Post-graduate program salary is well below market value and they ring-fence you at a standard $75k regardless of the position.
Graduate, Brisbane - 29 Jan 2020
Bonuses are pretty good. Pay is decent, about on par with other tech companies. There are some companies who pay significantly more.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Jan 2020
They pay graduates quite well comparatively, and the pay prospects for devs are very good (in my opinion) after you become a full-time employee, but devs definitely get paid more than some other roles. The bonus is misleading - they offer a 'potential bonus' but it seems that very few people receive the full amount.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Jan 2020
The parameters for bonuses are quite rigorous so don't expect to receive the full amount. Pay on the whole is quite competitive and reviewed each year.
Graduate, Sydney - 24 Jan 2020
From what I know the pay is slightly above average for graduate roles in the industry.
Graduate, Sydney - 24 Jan 2020
Bonuses are low, but the salary for graduates is leading and much more appropriate compared to other Big 4 etc.

Low to no bonus

Pay would be more for my role at other tech companies but for a grad position it is pretty good.

i think long term it's good.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Jan 2020
Pay is good and always an opportunity to negotiate. Bonus has been good thus far, however, I don't feel confident that it is consistent.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Jan 2020
Decent for graduate level
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Jan 2020
Above average but bonus is influenced more by company results than individual
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Jan 2020
Graduate salary is mid-tier, there are companies that are worse, but certainly a lot of companies that are a lot better. The lifestyle and flexibility is the tradeoff for lower pay. Bonus potential as a graduate is low
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Jan 2020
The pay is solid for the role - about market standard.
