Working Hours at Commonwealth Bank

9.1
9.1 rating for Working Hours, based on 35 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
I work 8 hours a day - but my team is very flexible with my hours as long as I can make it to meetings, stand up etc. I prefer to come in and leave early, so I usually work 7:30-3:30 each day, and if I need to leave early then that's fine as long as I make up the time another day.

I usually come in anywhere between 8.30 to 9.30 and leave around 5. However if I need to leave early around 4 for personal reasons, then that's fine too. Have never been questioned about my hours, and they seem to give each employee the responsibility to manage their own working hours. Occasionally work from home but prefer to come into the office for better collaboration.

Very flexible, I am in non-customer facing role which does not require me to be in the office at specific times. I'm able to work from home easily.

I'm in the office 9-5 pretty much every day. Some days I wake up late and come in at 9.30. I generally work from home 1 day a week without issue.

Flexible work life balance, when I need to leave early it is no hassle.

My area of the company has amazing work culture. We focus on the quality and quantity of work done and not on the hours spent. You finished your weeks work by Friday at 3pm ? Feel free to leave and go to happy hour at the bar :)

In tech they are very flexible about when you work. As long as you get your work done and are putting in the hours somewhere they don't mind when you do it. Starting/Finishing early/late is no problem.

Nobody expects me to bust my butt. As long as the work gets done and I put in a fair effort, my managers are happy.

Flexible for working with home, flexible work arrangements. Only stay back after hours for releases, but receive Time in Lieu. Can get additional paid leave.
