In Australia and Timor-Leste our exciting portfolio includes the Australia Pacific LNG facility in Queensland, Bayu-Undan gas-condensate field in the Timor Sea, and the Darwin LNG facility in the Northern Territory. We also have exploration and appraisal projects in northern Australia including the Greater Poseidon, Caldita-Barossa and Greater Sunrise fields.
We are pioneers of LNG technology, operating one of the first LNG facilities in Australia at Darwin LNG. Our new Australia Pacific LNG is one of the world's first projects to convert CSG to liquefied natural gas (LNG) and uses ConocoPhillips' Optimised Cascade Process®, an LNG liquefaction technology. It will deliver a cleaner-burning fuel, then some other energy sources, to customers in Australia and Asia.
Our Engineering team, based in our Brisbane office, has exciting Vacation Work placements for Chemical and Mechanical Engineering students in their penultimate year of study. These placements will be a paid contract position for three months, commencing late November 2017.
