Datacom Presales Consultant - Graduate

The Role

As the Presales Consultant - Graduate you will be responsible for writing and preparing minor works proposals and quotes for in-contract customers. You will be expected to author and coordinate technical aspects and estimates on requests that are delivered by Professional Services and Operate teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented and professional graduate with a technical background.

Responsibilities

The core objectives and responsibilities of the Presales Consultant include:

1. Request response / acknowledgement
2. Ensure all Minor Work Artefacts are prepared using correct templates, follow peer review process, and in line with Datacom's Project Management and Delegated Financial Authority processes
3. Build relationships with clients (internal and external) and maintain client satisfaction levels
4. Maintenance of quality and accuracy standards in responses
5. Application of lessons learned from previous delivery into assumptions, scope and constraints on new engagements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a broad knowledge of MS Office Applications, be self motivated and have an ability to work unsupervised. You will be a recent graduate with an IT background. You must be able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage work flows. You will have a client centric approach, excellent presentation skills and be a team player.
