I have liked and been able to work effectively with all my managers to date. The performance feedback process has been open, productive and has helped improve the standard of my work. I have also learned a lot personally from observing and interacting with my previous managers, and keep in touch when I can.

I've been very happy with all of my supervisors and managers so far. They've always been supportive, encouraging, and pleasant people to work with, and have given good feedback. This isn't necessarily the case for 100% of the managers across the department but it seems like it's true for the vast majority.

There are many levels of management. Good interaction and support from those directly supervising you. Limited interaction with those higher up.

Executive staff differ across the department but most are very accessible and make great mentors. Many have worked in the private sector as well and can help with the transition if you're coming or going. Comms is great and achievements are well recognised.

Managers can vary, as can their styles, but I have found that they are uniformly interested in giving you opportunities to develop and distinguish yourself.

Internal communication varies between different divisions, branches, and sections. Performance feedback and mentorship is consistently good, and experienced managers are always happy to provide advice, insight and guidance to new graduates at the start of their careers.
