First of the programme is low pay (APS 3 level) but in the second year you advance to APS 5, which is better than many other departments' grad programmes.

In the graduate programme, the jump from APS3 to APS5 in your second year is really great. It reflects trust in your growing knowledge and experience and of course the extra money doesn't hurt either.

I think my salary is very generous for a graduate who has only been with the organisation for one year.

Because it's APS everyone at each level is paid the same and there are no bonuses. Salary increases with APS increments and is dependent on your EA, but is generally very good compared to grad averages.
