Our Graduate Program has a unique opportunity for Graduates to work within our Finance and Business Processes team in Sydney. With the support of your manager, you will gain expertise in the practical application of your accounting knowledge in a large high growth technology company. You will also gain experience in management and tax accounting and have an overview of all aspects of the Finance Department. You will build relationships and work closely with all levels of management which will allow you to develop the communication skills required for a successful career.  In the role, you will learn elements of Finance and key Business Processes during the program. 

As part of the 12-month program starting in February 2021, you will have varied experiences across a broad field to enable you to develop:

  • An understanding of how Fujitsu operates
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Understanding of general accounting, financial analysis, and reports.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in the context of a global corporate organisation
  • Business analysis and presentation skills

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for individuals who have:

  • In the last 2 years, or are about to complete a Bachelor's or Master's degree which may include: Commerce, Accounting or Professional Accounting;
  • A commitment to commence/continue studying towards CA / CPA qualification
  • A strong desire to succeed in their chosen career and are achievement-oriented 
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships and communicate professionally
  • The maturity to work in an environment that warrants frequent interaction with senior management, executives and customers.
  • Self-direction and are proactive in self-motivated learning.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive mindset.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team.
  • The capacity to manage complex information and make decisions.
  • The ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

These positions will be located in Macquarie Park, Sydney - NSW. Candidates must have permanent residency or citizenship at the time of application.

Cons

    • Corporate processes, bureaucracy.

    • Can get too busy in the small details to focus on the bigger items.

    • Sometime projects can be demanding It's a big company and it can be tricky to navigate through all of the different teams.

    • Lack of structured internal team support - you definitely need a few things going your way to succeed Too technical - would love to see an innovative/out of the box style way of integrating staff who don't have an IT background.

    • It takes time to understand the business and I need to be patient to explore the unknown until I solve the puzzle.
