We are presently seeking 3 graduate electrical engineers for our international operations. Our team support the installation and commissioning of control systems and large electrical rotating equipment. We participate in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewables and heavy industry.

We are looking for someone that is curious to explore complex systems, creative to resolve technical issues and willing to present findings and research to customers and senior management. There is a wealth of technical expertise at GE that you will have the opportunity to leverage and learn from. We want to give you the experiences and the training you need to be the best electrical engineer that you can be.

The successful candidate will be trained alongside a highly-experienced member of the team on the following equipment:

  • Excitation systems including EX2100e
  • PLC, SCADA and Drive software.
  • Reviewing and modifying schematics,
  • Electrical Rotating Machines
  • Mark VIe Turbine Controller

The graduate electrical engineer role will provide:

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services). All applicants are required to hold the appropriate entitlement to work in Australia and/or New Zealand at date of application (Permanent Resident of Australia or an Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen). As there will be on site travel involved, candidates will need to have geographic mobility.
