HR Advisor at IAG Australia
Greatest professional achievement
At the age of 19, and in my third year of University, I secured an entry level HR Coordinator role having had no prior experience. I was able to apply the knowledge from my degree to day-to-day tasks and learn about the corporate world.
After 11 months at IAG, I was promoted into my current role as a HR Advisor, I hit the ground running and exceeded the expectations of myself and my manager.
Subsequently, I was included in a project which improves employee’s experience with IAG’s HR knowledge base system. From the experience I have gained, I was able to apply my insights and contribution as a subject matter expert to ensure a successful and well received launch of the system.
Career Goals or Aspirations
I am currently trying to take in as much as I can, learning about the different aspects and specialist functions of Human Resources. I have a great interest in continuous improvement and building effective systems of work. I hope that I can apply the skills I learnt working on the recent project and lead a project of my own one day.
