We are looking for an experienced Billings Officer to join our friendly team in Canberra on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the billing duties for International SOS in a professional and timely manner whilst complying with client requirements and internal deadlines.

As the Billings Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the billing for complex client contracts and issuing of invoices as per requirements
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders daily; responding to queries/requests and managing expectations
  • Resolving billing disputes, working closely with the credit controller to assist with collections
  • Work with spreadsheets and high volume of paperwork requiring manual checking, sorting and scanning. The completion of the billing is contractually bound to strict deadlines.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure all required approvals are obtained for billing purposes.
  • Regular communication with the Billings and Accounts Payable Team Leader to ensure updated procedures are followed and any issues are brought to light.

To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years of previous billings experience within the professional services industry. You will have knowledge of Salesforce and experience working with Oracle. Preferably you have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You will have proven professional communication and engagement skills and high attention to detail.
