About the Opportunity: Graduate Economist
We have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate interested in applying their economics knowledge to real life problems. As a member of the Economics and Strategic Advisory team the successful candidate will take a central role in undertaking research and analytical tasks including market analysis, economic impact analysis, cost benefit analysis, economic modelling, financial modelling and report writing.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you feel comfortable taking on responsibility for your work and interacting with clients as well as writing reports and undertaking technical economic modelling. Day to day tasks include researching the latest thinking on areas of economic thought, providing advice on the benefits of infrastructure projects, writing business cases to help State and Federal government agencies secure funding, and conducting economic modelling of projects with the guidance and support of our senior economists.
