About the Opportunity: Undergraduate Project Manager

Jacobs Project Management team are responsible for the delivery of projects in the Built Environment. Our consultants are a highly respected team that deliver complex and technically challenging local and national projects to clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including state, federal and local government, construction contractors, and utilities and transport providers. Our team delivers Project Management services from large-scale alliance projects through to discrete projects for specific clients. In this, we take a client’s brief and “make it happen”.

As an intern, you will be exposed to various tasks that include:

  • Providing project management support in the delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the execution of project delivery strategies as they relate to safety, cost, schedule, quality and contract management
  • Reporting and communication to internal and external teams in respect of project status
  • Coordination and management of resources to confirm that tasks are planned and executed in accordance with the project delivery schedule

About you

The successful candidate will:

  • Complete your degree in 2019 (Project Management, Construction Management, Economics, Engineering)
  • Be technically inquisitive
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
  • Communicate exceptionally well
  • Ask questions and challenge the norm
  • Be able to commence on 19 November 2018 and work through to March 2019
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
