About the Opportunity: Undergraduate Transport Modeller & Data Scientist

 As an Undergraduate Engineer at Jacobs, you will apply your transport modelling skills to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems. Working alongside a team of professionals, you will conduct investigations and prepare and present modelling studies to clients to meet their technical competencies.

This is an opportunity to join a market leader and work on iconic projects and help shape local, regional and international transport systems, whilst also building on your skills developed at University.

 Due to a strong pipeline of work and continued focus on further developing our successful business we are looking for an Intern with a strong interest in Transport modelling to join our highly skilled and collegiate team. This position will take a central role in assisting the team in delivering transport modelling services to our local clients including government agencies and the private sector.

About you

The successful candidate will:

• Complete your degree in 2019 (Engineering, Transport Planning, Math's, IT, Data Science or similar)
• Be technically inquisitive
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
• Communicate exceptionally well
• Ask questions and challenge the norm
• Be able to commence on 19 November 2018 and work through to March 2019
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
