About the Opportunity: Undergraduate Environmental Planner / Scientist
 
Jacobs Security Services is one of Australia’s largest specialist security consultancy firms, through our extensive and ever-growing portfolio of projects with many Government, Defence, Correctional and Commercial clients.
 
The Jacobs Security Team prides itself on providing comprehensive and high quality consulting services to our clients that fully addresses their needs and project requirements. Our approach is client focused, allowing us to do the job right the first time.
 
Our Sydney team works closely with other Jacobs security teams nationally and the Asia Pacific region across the full spectrum of security services.
 
In your role as an Undergraduate Security Consultant, your team work, initiative and enthusiasm, as well as the development of your technical skills will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking your project responsibilities tasks.

About you

As an Intern at Jacobs you will gain exposure to a range of disciplines, allowing you to build on the specialist knowledge you’ve gained at university. 
The successful candidate will:

  • Complete your degree in 2019 (Environmental Planning, Science or similar degree)
  • Be technically inquisitive
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
  • Communicate exceptionally well
  • Ask questions and challenge the norm
  • Be able to commence on 19 November 2018 and work through to March 2019 
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
