What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Great entry level salary compared to other companies in the industry. Guaranteed pay rises over the next 2 years.
Graduate, Sydney - 25 Jul 2016
The pay is okay, I think that it should be a bit higher given the hours expected to be worked. I don't know about bonus as I have not been here for long enough to have received any yet
Graduate, Melbourne - 22 Jul 2016
It's a pretty clear system for workers at my level - the graduate program has everyone's salary set the same (and it's about the national average for engineering grads).
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Jul 2016
Pay rate too low given number of hours worked. Contracted to work 38hr week and remuneration is based on that. However working a 60-65hr week results in a very low pay rate with no additional pay offered or leave. Would be better if banked hours were accrued which add to your leave bank or payed out. Currently, no bonuses offered for graduates.
Graduate, Port Macquarie - 20 Jul 2016
The bonus policy is very clear and relates very clearly to goals set during the period.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Above average.
Graduate, Perth - 19 Jul 2016
The graduate pay is around market value. Bonuses and pay rises are poor until you get promoted to need level Eg. SE to PE.
Midlevel, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
The pay is high for a graduate position and made the company very attractive.
Graduate, Newcastle - 19 Jul 2016
The salary offered was higher than other offers I received which was good. However I have worked on one project which involved 12 hour days, and this is paid the same as 8 hours. As a graduate I am not entitled to any bonuses in my first 2 years.
Graduate, Newcastle - 19 Jul 2016
Pay is on the higher end for a graduate.
Graduate, Brisbane - 19 Jul 2016
Seems fair, but not overly generous considering hours worked, dont know about bonuses
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Bonuses are handed out everywhere and are based on performance. The payment for a engineering graduate is average, but far exceeds other companies if you have a different background (HR, Finance, Property etc.)
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Very good starting rate with 'pay for performance' bonus in your first year. Rate increases are ok. Grad pay rises are standard across the business
Graduate, Melbourne - 19 Jul 2016
Bonuses and pay rises occur quite regularly.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Very good
Graduate, Brisbane - 19 Jul 2016
Very reasonable. They are sitting at pretty much average to comparable companies from what I know but it's above the minimum and they are generous with annual bonuses if you're doing good work.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Seems like a fair process to me. Bonuses are based on whether you have earned them over the previous year, and your pay is determined by your experience and qualifications.

Can't comment on bonuses just yet, but salary is competitive for the role
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Bonus are quite subjective, and not necessarily in line with your commitment. (Lendlease bonus system is a pool of points allocated by your line manager). The more points the more bonus you receive, but this is also factored against the business performance and market performance. Generally the line manager will allocate points on the basis of employees they cannot afford to lose, rather than by those who have given the largest effort or performed the strongest.
