There are many training programs for graduates including the CiDD waterproofing and fire workshop as well as the construction planning workshops that run over a couple of months. I now understand about the design requirements for waterproofing and fire.

The company offers a range of training courses and it is encouraged that graduates make use of these. Managers are reluctant to approve however as these courses get charged back to the project (when the project is working to a profit margin already).

Lendlease training is one of the best aspect of the company, the graduate program has a large program of compulsory and optional courses that are very useful to my role. Attendance of these courses is supported 100% by the company.

Formal training has been great. Get paid for the time, can sign up for additional training - however you are running projects and will have to catch up on the work at sometime

The graduate course has a range of compulsory training that must be completed over the two year period. These include time management, site specific issues, software use, etc. I picked up good productivity skills from one course.

There are array of programs available. Most of these are short courses and therefore not all the information "sticks". It is always good to get the opportunity to learn new content and skills and the company gives plenty of opportunities to do this i.e. presentation skills, influencing skills, finance / excel refreshers.
