About Corporate and Institutional Banking
We provide global financial insights and solutions to leading corporations to the ASX 250 segment and beyond. We help our customers with debt structuring, funding solutions, research, trading and custodial services to superannuation, insurance and investment managers.

You’ll complete rotations in some of the following business areas:
- Asset Servicing
- Business Transformation
- Client Coverage
- Corporate Finance

The work you’ll do in this stream
You may be involved with some of the following activities:
- utilise sales, trading and research capabilities to support local and global customers across traded markets
- provide innovative funding solutions and access points to global capital markets
- provide custody, master custody, investment administration and other related services to both local and international clients, including corporate and industry superannuation funds, investment managers and institutional banks
- assist in the relationship management of our large corporate and institutional customers
- analyse and interpret complex financial information to provide appropriate recommendations
- develop an ongoing awareness and understanding of market risk, industry knowledge and risk appetite
- provide technical, analytical, administrative and direct client support

Our graduates successfully transition into analyst roles servicing a variety of customers across our Corporate and Institutional banking teams.

The culture, people & opportunities
Learning & Development Opportunity
Going through 3 rotations in 3 different teams thus getting exposure through a number of places within the company.
NAB has an outstanding culture premised on equality and merit.
Cons
Inability to choose or preference rotation places.
Technology and communication, although there is lots of work and improvements being made in these areas now.
Certain teams are not as concerned about graduate development as others.
I commute about 2 hours each way to get to and from work.
My current role is process heavy - and it is easy to get caught up in the grind of punching out what needs to be done.
