The NGDP is a two-year program that will provide you with the experience, supervision, mentoring and training necessary to make a meaningful contribution to Nova, determine your own career pathway and solve the problems that really matter.

Nova Systems is a Professional Service Provider, specialising in the provision of engineering and management services.
They really care about their people. They make sure you are taken care of and really do value you as a person
Everyone takes the time to make sure you are happy with what you're working on. Senior engineers are always happy to help with any questions. There are lots of perks (Personal development budget, professional development budget, etc.)

The people are friendly and fun to work with. While the regular transition between different tasks and clients keeps things interesting and allows development in different areas and skills.
The small size can often mean that there's not much opportunity to get involved in disciplines other than Systems Engineering
At times communications can break down. Possibility of getting pigeonholed in one type of role.
Due to the consulting nature of the work, there are weeks when the work is slow and weeks where there is so much work to do! I am sure this is a struggle in any organisation. At times I have found it a challenge to manage different work fronts and changing priorities as is the nature of my department.
