The graduate program encourages extra-curricular involvement in regards to STEM and the community. However, this work is to be done on one's own time. I am not aware of extra efforts on behalf of Nova Systems to work in with the community on that level. Nova has been proactive in encouraging recycling by implementing organics, mixed recycling and soft plastics bins. They also have mental health services available and have a company psychologist.

We have run a partnership with Engineers without borders, we are working with CSIRO to try and increase STEM awareness in schools and we have a very regimented recycling program in the main office
