Schlumberger has a lot of opportunities and you'll be able to work in many different roles. Your progression is self-driven. There are three grades from a field engineer trainee to a general field engineer. The progression is clearly outlined and your progression will be self-driven. For each grade, there will be training schools which you must attend and complete. To be a GFE you will have to complete a project and pass interviews with executives. Once you're a general field engineer you will have a review to discuss work opportunities in other areas such as finance, human resources or technical roles.
