SIG's Graduate Equity Research Program is an opportunity to transfer that passion into a successful career.

Graduate Equity Research Program

Our Equity Research Analysts work directly with our traders to identify investment opportunities in the equity and options markets. Research analysts provide in-depth company analysis around future catalyst events and provide real-time opinions on breaking news throughout the trading day.

You will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on, either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. Analysts are embedded in a sector-focused trading desk and work collaboratively with traders who rely heavily on the analysis you provide to make trading decisions.

As a graduate, you can expect on the job training and start having a direct impact on the business almost immediately.

Always Learning

At SIG Trading we believe that there is always something to learn and that ideas can come from anywhere, whether you are one of the founders or fresh out of university. Our focus on education has given us a reputation on Wall Street as having best-in-class development. As an equity research Analyst, you will have a personalised learning program and will attend finance classes with our graduate traders. You will also travel to our headquarters in Philadelphia, US to participate in classroom education where you will learn about options and the decision-making strategies that our traders employ.

The application of game theory and decision science is at the core of what we do and, like great gamers, we are big on strategy and managing risk. Our education includes classes on poker and other games that require strategic thinking, pattern recognition, and quick response time.
