The opportunity:

This graduate opportunity will sit in the Customer Insight team, a group of specialists responsible for understanding the behaviours and wants of Stockland's customers and prospective customers– for example, those who live in a Stockland community, retirement village or shop at Stockland shopping centres. Championing customer centricity is key to this team who support in ensuring Stockland's developments meet the needs of the communities and individuals they serve, now and in the future.

The graduate will support with completing behavioural research and analysis, taking this insight to support project delivery teams in making commercial decisions with the customer in mind.

Responsibilities in this role are varied. They could include:

  • Taking ownership for customer satisfaction research through writing and distributing surveys, completing analysis and reporting on trends from the feedback received.
  • Supporting development managers in the design phase of a new Stockland asset through providing specific insight on customer needs, behaviours and preferences in that community.
  • Supporting the leasing team to understand consumer trends and behaviours in a geographic region so that they can approach and target the most relevant business for customers.
  • Delivering project-based work which supports in defining Stockland's future business direction.

Owing to its broad remit, this role sets up the graduate to pursue a longer-term career in customer/consumer trends and market insights or transfer the analytical skills learned into other analyst roles.

This position is based in Sydney with the potential for infrequent travel.

Requirements:

This position is open to graduates from all degree backgrounds. Exposure to completing research-based projects, analysing and summarising outcomes is advantageous.

To be eligible you should have achieved a 60% grade point average or above (GPA) either to date or overall in your degree subject. Please attach a copy of your transcript to your application so that this can be cross-referenced.

This graduate must be able to work in a team and with a broad range of stakeholders. A passion for understanding what makes people tick and attention to detail is critical for this position as is the interest in identifying trends and drawing meaning from data.

To be eligible for the Stockland programme you must currently be studying for or have completed a suitable degree in the last 24 months of the programme start date. We anticipate this programme starting in February 2019.
