Why did you choose Suncorp?

I worked for Suncorp whilst completing my studies.  After seeing how much value the organisation places in its people, culture, and customers I knew it was an organisations I’d be proud to continue to be a part of.

What do you do as a Banking graduate?

As a Corporate Banking graduate I have completed rotations within Customer/ Product Development, Treasury, and most recently in Operational Risk & Compliance.  

The purpose of my first role in Customer Development was to contribute to the acquisition, growth and retention of personal banking customers across transactional and high interest savings accounts.  In Treasury my role was to provide support to the Sales & Service network through the delivery of negotiated exchange rates, economic research, and interest rate risk management products.  The purpose of my role in Operational Risk & Compliance is to identify risk of loss resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems or from external events, and ensure adequate controls are in place to mitigate these risks.
