There is a strong culture of acceptance and engagement with diverse genders, sexualities and cultures. This is outlined in organisational strategies, but also the everyday conduct of staff. There is an emphasis on diverse recruitment.

I think we are a very diverse company and I'd say most people would be very respectful of others. We have a culturally diverse workplace with people coming from many different backgrounds. We like to celebrate in my office things like International Women's Day, LGBTI with morning teas. I don't think we have a problem with these things however, I haven't been in the situation of having a child yet. I do see that colleagues have no problem if they have responsibilities caring for their children when sick etc. though.

There is a diverse range of people on my floor in terms of gender, ethnicity, age, etc. In the recruitment process I noticed this too in terms of mix of applicants. From what I can see, parents are well supported by the department.
