Very accessible, in my experience with a 'door is always open' policy, performance monitoring is a well-refined process providing opportunity for feedback.

Managers are generally very accessible and on the most part they make good mentors. If for any reason a manager is hard to get on with - you still have to remember it's a good experience for you and your professional career, because you can learn to overcome issues and deal with a range of personality types.

My manager is very accessible, makes sure I have things to do, gives feedback and checks if I need help regularly. He has made an effort to give me tasks that align with my areas of interest.
