Very flexible - sometimes I work longer when we have a lot on and then other days I leave early or take a whole day off to make up for it, everything is recorded on timesheets

Very flexible with hours and when they are worked. Highly supportive team. Some days are long but the opportunity for field work is amazing and time in lieu is available.

Somewhat flexible - Can choose my own hours unless I'm working in my emergency role

My division within the Department operates on a Time In Lieu basis. While some of the flexibility is down to managers discretion the work place is overall somewhat flexible.

Quite flexible, although some work demands can push those hours beyond normal work duties
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Jun 2018
As long as you do your hours it's pretty flexible. Say you want to start a bit later in the morning then you just stay an hour later in the afternoon etc. As long as its discussed with your supervisor first.

The department prides itself on allowing for flexible working arrangements including flexible start and finish times, working from home and more.

Incredibly flexible! The public service prides itself on flexible work and DELWP is one of the most. Everyone has flexible start/finish time (most of the time I start early and finish early, but some days I choose to sleep in a bit), you can also speak to your supervisor about working from home, working a compressed week/fortnight, working at other offices, etc. and the process is very easy.

This company is very flexible, although this may depend on the role you get and potential field work components of the role, but otherwise generally really good with flexible work arrangements.

7.6 hours a day. Flexible arrival and departure (7:30-9:30am)

DELWP is flexible with work hours. There are flexible start and finish times and staff can take time in lieu if working overtime. Flexible arrangements are available to all staff.

I'm quite often in the field - meaning the need for driving to field sites or farms is essential, this sometimes causes the work week to be more than the 38 hours. In general, hours are quite flexible in reason, if you have an appointment, children or something this can usually be accommodated.
Graduate, Hamilton (now)/ Inverleigh (in 2017) - 04 Jun 2018
Hours are very flexible. Sometimes I come in late and work late or early and finish early. As long as you are working the correct number of hours, the times you work is entirely up to you.
Graduate, Melbourne - 04 Jun 2018
They are fairly flexible - as long as the required number of hours are done per day. Hours are more flexible for employees who have children/are careers (but not me)
Graduate, Melbourne - 04 Jun 2018
37.5 hours a week. Flexi time - start when you want/finish.
