The Graduate Program is targeted at accelerating your development preparing you to take part in some of the largest developments in the National Electricity Market's history.

As a TransGrid Graduate, you will be on a two-year program undertaking rotations across five business areas, with access to internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Rotations will vary, depending on your background and career aspirations, and will help you create an invaluable network that helps you learn, grow, and develop.

We are looking for agile individuals who enjoy problem-solving, are goal-oriented and are committed to business excellence. We are seeking candidates who are in their final year of university studies or who have recently graduated that can start working from March 2020.

Construction & Project Management Stream

• Assist team and project managers in the delivery of capital projects
• Support the establishment and management of contracts.
• Support the monitoring of contractor performance.
• Proactively recommend opportunities to improve project delivery in TransGrid
• Develop working relationships with the Field Support, Maintenance, HS&E;, and Project Delivery groups, and internal/external stakeholders

Qualifications and experience

• Construction and Project Management Stream: Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering (with major in Project Management)
• 0-2 years experience
• Motivated and willing to learn
• Able to think laterally and to provide input to innovative solutions to complex problems
• Able to work well with others
• A clear communicator
• Environmentally and socially responsible
• Appreciative and sensitive of difference and diversity
• Able to rotate to a regional location for a 6 month period

Note: These positions are 2 year fixed term roles with a potential to apply or be considered for Full-Time employment after 3rd rotation
