Culture at viva was very inclusive and friendly

During office, everyone is extremely welcoming and accepting. They like hearing your ideas and treat you as though you are an employee rather than an intern. Mixing with the different departments is the same as well. We became involved in afternoon teas on Friday and provided afternoon tea and potluck on a few occasions as interns. Outside of work: as interns we were invited to Christmas parties and Australia day parties. Everyone was still very respectful of each other while losing a layer of the professionalism required in the office.

In hours, very helpful and willing to give you every opportunity. Out of hours, very friendly, people orientated business.

The culture is terrific from an engineer's perspective. The engineering teams were very cooperative and friendly. Weekly morning/afternoon tea was a chance for the interns to get to know the team outside of project related questions. Interns were invited to social catch-ups and included in group activities. A very engaging office to work in!

In the office, the culture is a high performing one. We are agile and often are working on a number of projects at the same time. However, work-life balance is of vital importance. Our hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, and senior leadership leads by example. We have a Community Partnership program which is championed by employees and enables us to volunteer with community partners. Additionally, we have a strong Social Club which is supported by our business, promoting a culture of high performance, coupled with social interaction.
