Working Hours at WA Department of Health

My employer is very flexible when it comes to working hours. You have a set amount of hours to be worked each week, and these can be completed whenever you want. If you work more than that set amount, you are able to take this excess time off as "time off in lieu".

There is a great commitment to work-life balance. There is a less flexibility when undertaking project work, however health and well being always takes paramount.

Work hours are quite flexible in the majority of corporate roles. Start and finish times are flexible, and you are able to accrue "flexi" when you work additional hours, which can be taken at an appropriate time.

WA Health is very flexible.

I typically work 8-4. My employer is flexible and I am able to modify my hours to suit me.

My company generally has quite flexible working arrangements (at the discretion of your manager) and as long as you fulfil your expected hours, and work within the core period then this is acceptable. Some areas also have 9 day fortnights and Flexi-time available.
