Wood Summer Vacation Program

Our aim is to give you a realistic look at what it is like to work at Wood; to develop an understanding of how we conduct our business and a chance to see how deeply we respect and adhere to our Values. You will have the chance to apply the knowledge that you have gained during your studies to exciting oil and gas projects, working with some of the industry's top engineers, designers, project managers and other subject matter experts.

The scheme will also provide you with the opportunity to grow your professional network and receive useful feedback on your time with us, to assist you with your studies and career planning.

Wood's internship program runs over the Summer Vacation for a period of approximately 12 weeks, from early December to late February. Internships are paid employment and you will receive appropriate training and coaching to enable you to make the most of the experience. Those Interns that are identified as being well aligned to Wood's business and Values may be offered a place on our Graduate Program.

To be considered for the 2018 Summer Internship Program, you must be in your penultimate year or final year of a relevant undergraduate or post graduate degree at an Australian university.

Wood is looking for highly motivated, focused and technically sound health & safety students that have a genuine desire to work in the energy industry. Limited places are available and we encourage early application and appropriate research and understanding into Wood and our Vision& Values.
