Working under direct supervision and instruction, assists Subcontract Specialists with all Subcontract activities from invitation to tender through post award administration to close out.

Entry level position for the Subcontracts family of jobs, allows individuals to learn the basics of Subcontract Management.

You will be involved with:

  • Assists Subcontracts Specialists with issue of ITT (Invitation To Tender) documents and evaluation of tenders
  • Assists with post award admin including; invoice checking and recording and raising call off orders
  • Supports Subcontract Specialists with subcontract close out tasks including preparation of provisional and final account information.
  • Maintains subcontract files and registers in accordance with functional and project procedures
  • Works with Subcontract Specialists on commercial items including rate review evaluations, claim handling and KPI calculations
  • Uses processes and procedures on a daily basis to help with tasks, knows where to locate and which to apply in different situations
  • Shadows Subcontract Specialists in various meetings including kick off.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business with an average of 70 or greater;
  • Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context;
  • Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills;
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of team working skills;
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, conscientious and keen to learn;
  • Flexible (can relocate interstate or at client sites) with a can-do attitude.
