About this course

The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance is a postgraduate program offered by the Faculty of Law. The program is designed for directors and officers as well as for legal professionals with an interest in enterprise governance. Students enrolled in the program learn about the nature and operation of enterprise governance and the role of the board in a variety of enterprise contexts - including both for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises - and learn how to govern an enterprise in compliance with the relevant legal rules and ethical principles. All subjects in the program are delivered using a combination of online modules and intensive workshops, and all assessment tasks are constructively aligned and authentic.

If you already sit on a board or report to a board, the Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance will improve your governance effectiveness, decision making, understanding of risk and strategic thinking.

Course structure

The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance comprises 80 credit points (8 subjects) and is conducted over 4 semesters. Students complete 2 subjects per semester.

Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamur to the Office of Future Students.
