This degree offers the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge across three pathways: national and international policing, a work-based project or a research dissertation. A focus on international policing examines the broad body of knowledge of the history and context of international policing, including relevant developments in Australia and overseas.

Entry requirements

Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) Candidates for admission to the Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) degree shall: either hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award; or  have completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) or subjects deemed equivalent by the Course Coordinator. Candidates for admission to the Executive Masters in International Police Leadership shall: Hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award, or Have completed the requirements of the Canadian Police College Executive Development Program Additionally, a number of police jurisdictions have credit arrangements with awards in AGSPS , and prospective applicants should discuss these with the Course Coordinator. Graduate Diploma of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) Either hold a Bachelor degree in a related field, OR have qualified for an equivalent award OR have completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management(Policing and Security) or subjects deemed equivalent by Course Coordinator. Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) either hold a Bachelor degree in a related field, or have qualified for an equivalent award OR be able to prove experience in a leadership and management role to the satisfaction of the Course Coordinator
