The Master of Science (Global Subsea Engineering) course offers a unique opportunity for postgraduate students with a high academic achievement to engage and learn in an internationally collaborative environment centred around two major oil and gas hubs: Aberdeen, Scotland and Perth, Western Australia.
Students undertaking this joint masters course have the opportunity to complete four units at both institutions (i. e. Curtin then Aberdeen) followed by the completion of a jointly supervised project thesis. Thesis topics will be jointly developed by both institutions, leveraging the strong industry links at both oil and gas hubs. The eight taught units and thesis are conducted over three study periods (nominally 14 months in total). At the successful completion of the course students will be awarded a degree recognising their study at both institutions.
