Culture at ANZ

8.7
8.7 rating for Culture, based on 7 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Very supportive, encouraging environment. Whilst there is a hierarchy in terms of job titles, you are encouraged to speak to everyone and anyone, regardless of their level. Everyone is extremely approachable and it is a very collaborative environment.

Socialising amongst colleagues is a huge part of our company culture, whether it be morning coffees, lunches, lunchtime sport, after work drinks, team events. Everyone at my company has at least one friend that is no longer a "work friend" but now a "real life friend" - I know several people (myself included) who have been on holidays with their colleagues!

Active effort in continuing to develop culture, professional, with focus on teamwork. Some socializing, depending on team.

The culture is good - people are friendly, flexible/relaxed, helpful and they try to encourage you to be yourself. Structure and hierarchy is present - sometimes it is too hierarchical but cooperation and teamwork is spot on and definitely a valued quality in the company.

Excellent socialising within graduate cohort, solid group of colleagues and strong friendships and networks built. - Team culture during work office hours with supportive colleagues and ability to bring "whole self" to work. - Very flat organisational structure with decentralised hierarchy and ability to reach out and "above" to experienced managers and executives.
