Fee-earners, (including graduates) have a pro bono target of 52 hours per year. Pro bono hours are considered billable hours

Ashurst has a partnership with many charities or not for profit organisations as part of its CSR program. Our graduate cohort is in the process of arranging our own CSR event that will encourage participation by all staff within the firm

Workplace giving, pro bono practice with set targets for all practice staff, reconciliation action plan

The firm has appointed a Pro Bono and Corporate Social Responsibility Partner who oversees the firm's pro bono and corporate social responsibility programs and looks for new ways to assist the less fortunate and minority groups

The graduates are tasked with running their own CSR project during the year. There are also a number of opportunities to get involved in charitable and volunteer projects

Ashurst participates in the LEAPS program, that consists of lawyers that volunteer to mentor high school students, the firm has a very strong commitment to Pro Bono work, and often partners with clients on CSR initiatives

Lots of support in providing secondees to selected pro bono organisations. Staff are encouraged to develop initiatives which the firm will support where there is a case made
