Very reasonable
Graduate, Melbourne - 23 Mar 2018
I'm dissatisfied with the salary awarded at the ABS. ABS employees are paid less than employees of other government agencies.

bonuses don't exist but the pay is very attractive for someone entering the workforce

Pay is adequate but may not be as high as elsewhere. The bigger factor for me was job security.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
If you're in the graduate program and not based in Canberra, then you get some free trips to Canberra throughout the year to attend workshops.

Flexibility of hours. Cheaper myki passes.
Graduate, MELBOURNE - 19 Mar 2018
moving expenses and flex time

Able to work from almost any capital city office for short periods of time (i.e. whilst travelling interstate for the weekend can do the mon/fri from the interstate office)
Midlevel, Adelaide - 19 Mar 2018
Social club for subsidised drinks, cheaper movie tickets, parties etc. Moving expenses are included. Certain roles get lots of travel time and the allowances are very reasonable.
