I wouldn't want to be anywhere else at this stage in my career, the career progression in terms of acquiring skills and knowledge are second to none. In terms of promotion I think there are some ceilings that perhaps need to be lifted in order to recognize the true value of some employees.

Only have a 2 year contract with the grad program then would need to apply for a permanent position. This is dependent on what opportunities arise, and jobs in the research area of the company are more scarce than others.

The possibilities for promotion are quite good. Each financial year you complete a performance review and if this review is good then you obtain a small promotion with the main difference being a slight pay increase.
