Sustainability at Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO)

Recycling initiatives, energy use reduction strategies, low power designs, etc.

As a nuclear facility there is a lot of emphasis on environmental protection. New development of long term sustainability plans are in the works. Attempts to reduce waste and manage environmental impact are valued.

There are lots of green initiatives floating around, however these are hard to implement with old buildings.

ANSTO cares heavily about it's environmental footprint and currently has initiatives implemented such as compost bins and worm farms, solar panels and going completely paperless.
