Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) Reviews

Good at start. My understanding is this gets harder (like any company).

Good culture, very flat hierarchical structure, small organisation, moderately social.

Huge internal pushes to become even more diverse.

Analyse data, write papers, manage projects and stakeholders.

Lower level management are fantastic.

Sydney and Melbourne offices are great and really new.

Some online questions and testing, an assessment centre and a few interviews. Pretty standard for grad jobs. What do you know about APRA? Why do you want to work here? Tell us about a time when.... It was 2 years ago. I don't remember any others. Research everything on the website. Know about all the divisions and learn everything you can about what APRA does and how they do it (systems and processes etc).

Pay is good for the work hour expectations. Bonus is weak.

Training is fantastic and there are always more training opportunities.

Very flexible. Get the work done, you're all good.

There is a move towards having a paperless office, although that seems to be a cost cutting activity.
