BHP is aiming for a 50/50 gender balance by 2025. This is great and I have to commend our CEO for bringing in this target.

BHP is taking a lead in diversity, inclusion and respectful behaviors, we are not perfect by any means but a lot of work is being put into fixing this. This is supported by flexible work arrangements so that people from a huge range of circumstances can work for BHP.

BHP has a very strong diversity program. They run regular inclusion seminars. They are working to achieve a gender balance, making great steps towards this every year. They offer development programs aimed at minorities such as Indigenous Australians and access programs for medical conditions such as Autism.

Strong commitment to inclusion and diversity, with a council formed and publications sent through to all people on site. In some areas, women are being promoted to leadership roles, but some area still show a lack of change.

Extremely engaging on the diversity front. Flexible work allows many more people to apply and thrive in roles, while also having marketing campaigns and groups internally for women, ethnic minorities, and LGBTQ people.

We have pretty great maternity/paternity packages. You can take a block of time, or double it for half pay. We celebrate Wear it Purple Day, and have specific groups to support LGBTIQ+ within our working community. We work very closely with Indigenous communities which I think is something we are very proud of. A big culture thing here is making our workforce representative of our national population, which includes encouraging people of all backgrounds to apply. We do have a gender target.
