How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Pretty satisfied, some give feedback better/more consistently than others.

They are accessible, approachable, open to mentoring opportunities and provide regular feedback, praise/recognition and constructive criticism.

My seniors within my teams have been very helpful and supportive of my growth. I have little communication with my designated Supervisor.

The managers are always friendly when they see any staff. My teams manager will always take time to do activities with us to see how we are developing and give us any advice.

Depends on the manager/ leader. My superintendent is great at connecting with her team, she gets along well with us and helps us when we need it. She does regular check ins.

Varies greatly. Have had 1-Up leaders who have not provided great support or fostered a positive work environment, whilst have also had a terrific leader who makes a good mentor and goes out of their way to provide support. Complex leadership structure makes relationships with 2 and 3-ups difficult but is improving.

My superintendent is a great boss. He is very good at cultivating a good team environment and also encouraging performance. He rewards us when we do well, and guides us through learning and opportunities when we don't. I don't have much contact with his bosses, but I don't really have any interest in that level.

My direct 1ups have both been excellent, they have supported my learning and helped to filter some of the "crappy" jobs that get thrown at grads to do. They provide good feedback and always help me with areas to improve on.

Managers are good, they rotate managers around the sites which is a very inclusive approach. Managers are usually available for coaching/mentoring assuming you organize it. In smaller teams you would have more frequent 2-up meetings with them, whereas in larger teams that would be less feasible. Since you do not directly work with the managers, they have limited feedback on your performance, they will usually just relay whatever your immediate supervisor or senior engineer details to them.
