Canva is currently the world's fastest-growing tech start-up and, as listed by Fast Company, has won its place in the top 50 most innovative companies in the world.
In addition to setting some crazy big product goals, we also care deeply about our community. Whether it’s empowering non-for-profit and educational institutions to access our Canva Pro product for free, pledging to the Pledge 1% foundation or supporting working Canva parents through 100% subsidised school holiday programs. Canva is on a simple two-step mission:
Be the most valuable company in the world, and
Do as much good as possible.
Since launching in August of 2013, Canva has been changing the way in which we communicate. Today, our design tool has attracted over 20 million monthly active users, across 190 countries, who have collectively created more than two billion designs and we’ve only achieved 1% of what we’re capable of.
Our goal is to empower the whole world to design. With an integrated marketplace that has both free and paid stock photography, fonts, illustrations, and thousands of templates; a paid subscription that offers the ability to set up a brand kit so users can save their brand colours, fonts and assets, and ensure consistency across their designs; and a print service that gives users the ability to bring their design to life through a variety of formats - Canva is empowering the world to design.
We have a great team of designers, developers, artists, marketers, investors, and advisors. They have come from unexpected places: some left jobs, some left their own startups, and some even cut around-the-world trips short to join the team. We currently have three offices across the globe and employ 800+ amazing Canvanauts.
It’s been an incredible journey so far, and it’s only the beginning.
From our humble beginnings in 2012 of working from our CEO’s mum's living room to now being a global team of 800+ Canvanauts, Canva is still only 1% of the way there.
We currently offer graduate positions in software engineering (frontend development and backend development) as well as UX design.
All Canvanauts who join, are partnered with a mentor to help them in navigating the first 6 months at Canva. The mentors are there to ensure newbies are able to navigate the codebase, know how to join one of our 360 #clubs or where to get a Canva t-shirt.
We also have our own Canva University who create workshops to help you excel in your craft, communication, strategy, leadership, and coaching. If you’re wanting to upskill in an area not covered by those workshops, we also provide an annual professional development allowance.
We’re looking for graduates that are dedicated, eager to learn, have pure grit, and are seeking to solve a real problem.
