What is it?
Deloitte provide women with on-going support and development opportunities, creating a workplace that helps females accelerate and thrive in their careers.
How they do it
They achieve this through long-standing initiatives like their Aspiring Women program, designed to help talented female employees fast-track their leadership capabilities. It’s programs like these that have earned Deloitte the ‘Australian HR Institute’s Gender Equity in the Workplace Award’.
LGBTI Support
What is it?
Deloitte is committed to an inclusive work environment where all their employees have the opportunity to achieve their full potential, including their continued support for the LGBTI community.
How they do it
To foster a firm-wide culture of inclusivity, they launched GLOBE: Deloitte’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex (LGBTI) leadership forum and member community. GLOBE’s activities support their overall goal of building an environment in which all their employees feel valued and accepted. The GLOBE working group meets monthly to coordinate activities, training and awareness sessions throughout the firm.
