Salary at Department of the Treasury

Progression is great if you're a good performer and willing to challenge yourself.

I have received several pay rises since joining Treasury and am now on quite a comfortable wage.

The pay is ok. I don't think there are bonuses.

No bonuses given the transparent nature of the pay in the public service.

We get a living well allowance (essentially a bonus) of $600, otherwise no scope for bonuses in the public services as you'd expect.

Pay is good starting off as a graduate and the progression at pay points is also good. We do not get bonuses.

I think the working conditions are great.

Pay is competitive and increases quickly.

There is a health and wellbeing allowance to offset the cost of exercise gear, gym memberships, classes etc. There is also a rebate scheme in place for optical purchases.

You get exposure to various Ministers.
