My managers are all great mentors and I always feel I can talk to them about concerns or ask for feedback.

There is a mix between managers who are really great and not so good. Some managers will leave you alone and let you do your own thing, which as a graduate is not very helpful and almost harms your career. Other managers and higher level people in the organisation are very accessible and are keen to help you progress throughout the organisation.

Managers are very accessible. However, their level of mentoring depends on the individual. my first line manager was too busy to be in charge of the grad cohort and was not involved much with us (not a reflection on him). I have had two excellent host managers and a program director (during rotations) who looked after my development. I was recognised well by the management when I performed well and got constructive performance feedback.

Management in Melbourne are amazing. I feel like I can have lunch with the head of ANZA if I want to as he openly treats all his employees equally. Same as any other manager, whether it be my direct line manager in Digital Services, or the CFO or CMO, all are great managers and look after the team well.

My immediate managers are very good in how they interact with their team. There is a disconnect between them and the next level however.

Managers within my project team are very accessible and are great mentors with a wealth of experience however this is not the case across all projects within our region. There are company-wide standard for performance feedback and bi-annual performance reviews that are routinely performed.

Management is good and approachable. Can sometimes be very busy and unable to engage.

My managers are awesome and understand graduates well. They always make time and will help if things aren't going well.

You need to be proactive. if you are then it's easy to engage management and form the relationship.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 09 Oct 2017
As I presume most companies are, you need to assume a lot of responsibility for your own progression and development, supplemented and augmented by management. Communication is generally good.
