6.9
6.9 rating for Training, based on 22 reviews
Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
The online training is great and can be taken up at any time, it is just finding time to do it. My managers have put me up for many formal training sessions too.

self-learning system a lot of courses online

As a graduate there was very little training provided to help us become familiar with soft skills or the technology that Ericsson has. I have only had one opportunity for in class formal training on new technology which was very good, but I could only spend 80% of my time there as project work was considered to take precedence.

Formal training could have been much more structured. Again, I missed out on a lot of formal training that my colleagues received as I was not lucky enough to secure a permanent position in time. Hence the score of 6. The on the job training by team members was excellent

The training I have received between sales, consulting, and technical/cloud have all been of outstanding quality. Although they are rare (which is understandable due to cost) they are definitely worth the money. My current abilities in cloud which are looked highly upon by the rest of the organisation, are mostly due my last 2 trainings in both HDS and CEE.

There is plenty of online training available

Little to no training and most of what I've learnt is on-the-job based

The formal training programmes that were initially offered as part of the graduate program were never enacted upon, which was disappointing. I have completed one formal training programme within my team after moving onto a permanent contract, which provided me with problem handling skills, customer management skills, and team-building skills.

There are many options for formal training and web based learning.

Very in depth induction. Good OTJ training and large repository of online resources.
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Oct 2017
Courses (i.e. Project Manager Courses) should be more easily available and accessible
Graduate, Sydney - 10 Oct 2017
Distinct lack of technical and non-technical training. HR seem to not listen at all about this subject, as it is a consistent complaint from Junior-Senior employees, from my perspective.
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Oct 2017
technical and soft skill courses are provided. Service delivery and consulting skills have been very helpful courses to date.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 09 Oct 2017
Training is provided, but not always too relevant to individual roles. Most learning and training is on the job.
Experienced, Melbourne - 09 Oct 2017
common sense training that people take on, not to learn, but to bludge through for a week.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Oct 2017
Technical skills and consultative skills
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Oct 2017
There is a lot of voluntary online training, you make the most of what you have.
