What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
We are expected to work at the level of the Big 4 in terms of hours, however my pay is well below that of what the Big 4 pays for someone of my level, and lack the many perks Big 4 offer (E.g. Free dinners/Uber past 6, note GT offers this, however this is only available for our 'higher fee' audits) . Furthermore, the new graduates of the firm are being paid a couple of thousand less than my cohort, which doesn't appear to be fair to people of my level, given the additional workload, responsibilities we are required to undertake, not to mention the additional level of experience we possess.

CA Program is factored into pay.
Graduate, Brisbane - 29 Sep 2108
Pay is quite low (it was a pay cut from my previous employment), bonuses do not exist (as far as I am aware). The annual review should hopefully provide some additional financial support.
Midlevel, Perth - 29 Sep 2108
It would be good if we had bonuses to encourage people to try harder and perform their best
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2108
It's not very competitive.
Graduate, Adelaide - 26 Sep 2108
Pay increases are good
Graduate, Melbourne - 26 Sep 2108

Graduate, Perth - 25 Sep 2108
It's a Grad role, but the pay is still pretty poor & only representing those who want to stick around. No such thing as a bonus.
Graduate, Sydney - 25 Sep 2108
Base salary for graduates isn't great but this increases every year.
Graduate, Melbourne - 25 Sep 2108
NO bonuses. Need to incentivise employees.
Midlevel, Sydney - 25 Sep 2108
Standard accountants wage, no bonuses that I am aware of
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Nov 1983
No reward for effort.
Graduate, Cairns - 16 Nov 1983
No bonuses but I am happy with my pay (from my experience I know pay is not the most important thing, it the other factors which count)
Experienced, Melbourne - 16 Nov 1983
The salary is quite disappointing
Midlevel, Cairns - 16 Nov 1983
They factored in superannuation when giving me pay offer. Would have loved to receive same amount, and the superannuation amount separate. After taxes, final pay is decent.
